I guess good things come in pairs. I am happy to report another short encounter of two classmates of '74 in DC:

It started when I was checking voice messages in my office this afternoon. I noticed an unusual string of 11-digit numbers that started with 852. Hmm! I wondered who that might be. As I played back the message, I heard an authoritative voice in Cantonese, saying "I am Yu Sing Pui……" I could not believe my ears. I didn't remember when I last met Tiger.

Even though we met for only a couple of hours, with half the time driving in pouring rain and looking for parking space near a restaurant, we managed to talk about a lot of topics. I also talked to Mei Leung on the phone and somehow got the assignment from her to write something about tonight.

Tiger is here on company business for just a few days. I am so glad that he can spare some of his valuable time and have dinner with me.
